Regions of Canada
Everyone has done an amazing job this unit researching the different regions of Canada. We have used textbooks, Google Maps, and Google to explore different Canadian identities and regions. This Friday we will have a short quiz on the Regions of Canada before our final project is due to ensure everyone understands the concepts! If you have any questions don't hesitate to ask me in class - I am here to HELP!!

Parents, the curriculum expectations listed below describe the learning goals of the game provided:
- name and locate the various physical regions, provinces, and territories of Canada and
identify the chief natural resources of each;
- – identify Canada’s provinces and territories
and its main physical regions (e.g., Canadian
Shield, Appalachians, Hudson Bay lowlands,
Arctic lowlands,Great Lakes–St. Lawrence
lowlands, interior plains, cordilleras)
This link will allow students to demonstrate their understanding of the location of the different provinces in relation to one another. If students are unsure of the answer the game will correct the student and show them the appropriate location. Students can work the different levels to challenge their knowledge!
